Worker of Bus-1 company who have announced a plan to strike are delaying the strike due to the Naadam holiday.

The Head of  the Trade Union of the Bus-1 company, N.Turbat, said that all workers were in talks with directors of the company on July 9th. The involved parties agreed to delay the issue until Naadam has finished because they could not reach an agreement after a long meeting late at night.

The Trade Union of the Bus-1 company have demanded new amendments to their employment agreement from their directors since last April but the company authority has not accepted their demands. The amendments include a pay increase and insurance gap compensation according to the labor legislation of Mongolia.

The Trade Union of Bus-1 company also claim that the employer violated the Constitution by cutting worker`s regular vacation day and pay illegally and by forcing drivers to pay for diesel loss and rub down conductors.

The Trade Union of the company says that if the employer hesitates to accept their inquiries they will take them to court.
