
Data released from the polling stations showed how many votes the candidates gained in aimags and districts separately.
According to results DP candidate Ts.Elbegdorj gained 622,794 votes, MPP candidate B.Bat-Erdene 520, 380 votes and MPRP N.Udval 80,563 votes nationwide.
The General Election Commission collated the results and confirmed the incumbent Ts.Elbegdorj gained the majority of votes and met the winning requirements according to the Presidential Election law.
Comparing the votes for the candidates, Ts.Elbegdorj gained 102,414 more votes than candidate B.Bat-Erdene who gained 542, 231 more votes than candidate N.Udval.
The re-elected President Ts.Elbegdorj is expected to make a speech on Sukhbaatar Square at 11.40 am today to his thanks to his supporters and the voters.
There will also be concerts by Kharanga, Khurd and Niciton groups during the event.
