Ulaanbaatar City Election Commission held a press conference today on June 25th.

The City Election Commission reported that a total of 2,646 civil servants from the election committee in nine districts and 368 sub-committees, 43 staff in 43 information and technology teams and 407 clerks in precincts are organizing the 2013 Presidential Election of Mongolia.

Across Ulaanbaatar City a total of 841,858 voters are registered to cast their votes for the Presidential Election of Mongolia.

It is expected the 5,148  voters in Ulaanbaatar will cast their ballot papers via carrying box.

During the period of the election campaign the City Election Commission received 22 complaints from political parties and had them investigated by the Metropolitan Police.

The Metropolitan Police has investigated 18 complaints about MPP candidate B.Bat-Erdene, 3 complaints about MPRP candidate N.Udval and one complaint about DP candidate Ts.Elbegdorj.

All precincts in the City have completed their preparation work for the big day of voting on June 26th.

It is expected that 34 foreign observers and over 400 international organization observers will watch over the voting process.

Every precinct in the City has installed IP cameras in order to monitor the processes of the election. The City Election Commission will report on voting attendance every four hours.

Tomorrow, on election day, malls and markets will close and no alcohol will be served or sold. The election day is an official public day-off and traffic restrictions by vehicle plate number will not be enacted.
