The newly founded Archery Federation “Yesunhen Mergen” has appointed the State Archer B.Sumiyasukh as its President, B.Yondon as the chairman,  D.Erdenezuu as Vice Chairman and B.Batmunkh as Secretary of the Federation.

The Archery Federation “Yesunkhen mergen” announced that it will run the first ever archery game at the starting line of the National Archery Field on Sunday June 9th.

On Sunday 128 of the best archers will head to the National Archery Field to challenge their accuracy and strength. Archers are expected to shoot with traditional bow and arrows. This shooting across a 75 meter range is traditionally named tovkh kharvaa.

The Archery Federation will also award the winner with a 7 million MNT prize fund.

The Archery Federation Yesunhen Mergen organized the first State Championship Archery Competition in Erdenet City on the 800th anniversary of the Great Mongol State and the 85th anniversary of People”s Revolution.

The organizers say that the games will be great  training for archers before the National Celebration, Naadam.
