The Vice President of the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions, Kh.Amgalanbaatar,  was elected as the new President of the Confederation. He gained 71.2 percent of the votes of members during the 21st special session meeting on Monday June 3rd. The Secretary of the Confederation, Ts.Adiya who was also nominated for the position took some of the votes from Amgalanbaatar.

Now Ts.Adiya is likely to be appointed as the Vice President of the Confederation under the new leadership.

The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions is expected to take substantial measures to re-structure the organization, improve correspondence between primary and medium level units next years.  Over 207 representatives from the City and the countryside were represented at the 21st special session meeting of the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions and exchanged views and shared opinions on issues and future prospects of the confederation.
