Upon an invitation by the Minister of Justice, Kh.Temuujin, the Secretary General of INTERPOL, the International Criminal Police Organization, Ronald Kenneth Noble, is to pay an official visit to Mongolia on June 12th and 13th.

The Secretary General of INTERPOL will exchange views on cooperation with officials of the Ministry of Justice and General Police Department during the visit.

The Mongolian Government issued a decision to join the International Criminal Police Organization, INTERPOL during a cabinet meeting in 1991.

Mongolia became the 155th member state of the organization during the 60th Interpol General Assembly meeting that was held in Uruguay in November in 1991.
