The Government meeting yesterday discussed the infant infections in Clinical 1st Hospital and maternity house issues. Ch.Khurelbaatar briefed the meeting about the report of the working group established by the Prime Minister. After discussion, the following decisions were made:
· To resolve problems concerning lands near metropolitan maternity houses and state hospitals according to city planning laws, and to increase the engineering networks;
· To decide on the site for the new maternity house;
· To review the condition of buildings that were maternity houses before being rented out or sold and report to the Government before June 30;
· To announce tenders for all repairs funded from the budget;
· To follow proper procedures and norms when buying products and services;
· To prepare a result-based agreement with general managers of regional health organizations and directors of Health Departments of the city and provinces;
· To identify officials who fail to work responsibly and report them to the Government;
· To rectify mistakes and report to the Government by September 30.
