The families of the five people killed on July 1, 2008 were formally told on February 25 that no charges will be filed against any of the suspects. Yo.Sagsai of the Metropolitan Prosecuting Authority has written to them that investigations have finally cleared all officials, including the then director of the General Police Authority, Maj. Gen. Ch.Amarbold, the then director of the Metropolitan Police Department, O.Zorigt, the then director of the Public Discipline Department, G.Ganbaatar, the then director of the Patrol Department, Sh.Batsukh, and police officers Ya.Khorloorenbuuchii, D.Tumurbaatar, U.Darjaa, Yu.Gantulga, A.Uuganbayar, B.Battseren and N.Ariunbold of any charge.
