Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag received the State Councilor Yang Jiechi on the second day of his official visit in Mongolia.

At the beginning of the meeting Yang Jiechi expressed that China is ready to develop mutually beneficial cooperation within the respect of sovereignty, independence and a way to prosperity to Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag.

Further Yang revealed suggestion to develop long and medium term strategic programs between the two countries.

The Prime Minister agreed with the suggestion and commented that the long and medium term strategic program seemed to open up an opportunity to maintain bilateral cooperation between Mongolia and China in a definite, stable and progressive way in many fields.

State Councilor Yang stated that there is a possibility to cooperate with the Mongolian Government to help with the compliance of policy reform, saying industrialization and urbanization has been intensified and agricultural reform has also been done at the same time in China.

Further Yang emphasized that China is willing to launch a new project in Mongolia based on the potential capacity of the two countries making progress in the massive Oyutolgoi and Tavantolgoi deposits.

Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag stressed the possibilities of the two countries consolidating cooperation in roads, construction, energy and infrastructure and expressed interest in starting-up new cooperation in some sectors.

State Councilor Yang expressed that the visit solidified mutual cooperation and friendship between the two countries and invited Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag to visit China in the near future.
