The Mongolian Freestyle Wrestling Association has appointed a sumo grand champion, one of the most successful former sumo wrestlers, Asashoryu Dagvadorj as President  of the Association, during a board meeting on Wednesday May 1st.

In the board meeting, the Secretary of the Mongolian Freestyle Wrestling Association, Ts,Sereeter presented work reports of the Association in 2008-2012 to members to be discussed. The Mongolian Freestyle Wrestling Association decided on the main direction of the Association`s targeted work for 2013-2016 and discussed the preparedness for the annual Mongolian Open-2013 international competition that will be held soon in Ulaanbaatar.

Association members expressed special thanks to the former President (2008-2013) of the Mongolian Freestyle Wrestling Association, L.Chinbat who was appointed as Honored President of the Mongolian Freestyle Wrestling Association.
