Rio Tinto has appointed B.Bold, CEO of a gold exploration and mining company Altan Dornod Mongol LLC to the President of its Copper Division.

Rio Tinto has not officially affirmed the report yet.

B.Bold, a native Mongolian who has served as an advisor to Rio for the past three years.

Prior to become CEO of Altan Dornod Mongolia, B.Bold was CEO of Newcom, Managing Director of Goldstream.

Previously, he held positions of Associate to Executive Director and Executive Director with JP Morgan in London, Moscow and New York.

B.Bold is Chair of the Mongolian Mining Association Board and a member of the Executive Board of Business Council of Mongolia. A native Mongolian, B.Bold holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Mongolian Technical University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, US.
