The Ethic`s Sub-Committee of Parliament discussed behind closed doors the MP and Deputy Speaker S.Bayartsogt`s failure to declare the income of a secret Swiss bank account and offshore company Tuesday, April 23rd.

MP D.Battsogt and six other MPs delivered a demand to the Ethic-Sub Committee to discuss the issue.

MP D.Erdenebat said “Normally such an issue can be discussed openly at the Ethic Sub-Committee. But this time we should look at the issue in multiple ways. There is a need for necessary information to be discussed, so I want to suggest the meeting be held behind closed doors”.

Six members of the Ethic Sub-Committee agreed to the suggestion so the discussion was held behind closed door where MP and Chairwoman of the Ethic Sub-Committee, M.Batchimeg and MPs Sh.Tuvdendorj, J.Batzandan, Z.Bayanselenge, D.Terbishdagva, D.Erdenebat, M.Narankhuu and S.Bayartsogt were represented.

The Ethic Sub-Committee discussed the issue and agreed that the MP and Deputy Speaker`s failure was an ethic failure. The Committee also reached a decision to submit the issue to Parliament to be discussed.
