A citizen from Songinokhairkhan district made a complaint claiming the 26th electoral district illegally finished re-polling at 8:00 pm before the fixed finishing time of 10:00 pm. According to a decree passed by the Speaker`s decision on November 1st in 2012, the finishing time of a revote was fixed at 10:00 pm as opposed to 08:00 pm that was the case according to article 41 of the law on parliamentary elections.

But the chairman of Songinokhairkhan electoral district, M.Baasandorj, announced that a revote for the parliamentary election will not be carried out again. He said that “when the date of revote for the parliamentary election was set, it was announced  that the revote would happen between 07:00 am and 08:00 pm. Therefore there has been no illegal action. But complaints and claims by voters and parties will be transferred to the legislature according to law.”

The Chairman of Songinokhairkhan electoral district previously announced that the revote would not be carried out again officially before the revote during a press conference.
