The area from Zoos Goyol jewelry shop to the Mongolian State University of Culture and Arts on Baga Toiruu Street has been officially named Ankara today, Friday April 12th.

The Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, E.Bat-Uul, attended the opening ceremony for Ankara Street in Ulaanbaatar City. 

Ankara Street on Baga Toiruu was furnished with the support of 700 thousand US dollars from the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) through a decision made by the Turkish Government in 2010.
