The Spring session of Parliament began in the State House on Friday April 5th.

President Tsakhia Elbegdorj made a speech opening the spring session in the Parliament Hall. The first issue to be discussed during the spring session of Parliament will be the announcement of the Presidential Election date.

Other hot issues that are the subject of public debate to be discussed at the this session are amendments to the current law on foreign investment in firms and strategic assets, financial ways out on projects and programs and the infrastructure of ger districts.

During the opening of the spring session members of MPP left the Parliament Hall in protest of the speech about justice in Mongolia by President Tsakhia Elbegdorj.

The Deputy Head of MPP, Log Tsog, disapproved of the President`s speech claiming “Justice is buried in Mongolia. The President who sent the former president to jail is talking about Justice”.
