A MIAT spokesman failed to give any commitment on
Thursday when international flights would resume. Today was the third day they
remained canceled. Alternative
arrangements are being made for stranded passengers.
The Government yesterday announced the airline will fly
today but could not find enough technically skilled staff to make that
possible.
According to the summer schedule now in force, MIAT has daily
flights to
and to Moscow-Berlin twice a week and to
three times a week.
The dismissed workers have organized a temporary
committee and have had a meeting with MIAT’s new officials.
