A fire in 21st khoroo in Songinokhairkhan district caused the deaths of a family of seven family today, Tuesday April 2nd.

The City Emergency Office reported that the Emergency Center received
the fire call around 5.40 this morning. Following the fire call, the
rescue and firefight team 26 of the City Emergency Office arrived at the
scene. When the team arrived the scene, the home of the family had
already been consumed by the fire.

The Mongolian ger with its furniture can be burnt in 3-5 minutes. The
family of seven was aparently sleeping when the fire caught at dawn.

It was believed there were two men aged between 29 to 41, two women aged
30 to 40 and three children aged 5 months to 5 years old.

The reason behind the fire is being investigated.
