Chingeltei Distrcit Court will review the case of former hip hop singer Baavar, or Sh.Batbayar, who is suspected of narcotic possession and sale, at 01.00 pm on April 2nd.

The trial had been scheduled to take place in March but was delayed because the defendant failed to come to Court and was therefore detained in a detention center because of his disregard for the trail.

Sh.Batbayar is currently being treated in the Burn Injury Recovery Center after a mysterious fire in a cell at the detention centre. Related legislative agencies are investigating the reason behind the fire.

The Chingeltei District Court will take up the case over the illegally seized and possessed Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances without intention of sale.

If Sh.Batbayar pleads guilty over the case he will face fines worth of 100 to150 times the minimum labor wage  and 3 to 6 month under arrest or two years of jail time.
