Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received Sumo Grand Champion, Hakuho, the historical record holding winner of the basho 15-0 for a record ninth time on Thursday March 28th. The Japanese Prime Minister congratulated Hakuho saying, “Winning for the ninth time with no loses is an amazing record. Obviously it is hard to break the record made by the legendary sumo wrestlers Taiho and Futabayama”.

Hakuho handed Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is to depart to Mongolia on an official visit on March 30th and 31st, some souvenirs sealed with his handprint to deliver to the President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj.
