Former diplomats representing the Elders` Union of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, lead by the former Ambassador of Germany from Mongolia visited China between March 7th and 13th. The visit was a part of a bilateral relations plan for the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and China.

The Chinese Vice Foreign Minister, Zhang Zhijun, received the representatives and they exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Asia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, China, Xing Haiming, invited the former Mongolian diplomats to dinner to show respect.

The Former Mongolian diplomats reminded Chinese Ambassadors of the time when they served as Ambassadors, recalling old diplomatic specifics and talking about the current situation and future prospects.

Mongolian representatives also did some site-seeing at Kunming and Dali in Yunnan.
