Local reports say that on Saturday March 9th there was an industrial accident in a Oyu Tolgoi processing plant.

The accident reportedly left 10 miners poisoned and one seriously injured. But officials of Oyu Tolgoi LLC have refused to comment on the report.

The Public and Media outreach supervisor at Oyu Tolgoi LLC, Ts.Ganzorig, stated to a reporter that “We have not received any reports about an accident”.

However there were also reports of incidents at an open pit and an Oyu Tolgoi LLC workers camp but these cases never came to light.
