Police reported that the director of the local NBS television channel and prominent journalist, S.Naranbaatar, was found dead on Tuesday morning.

The Head of the Press and Information Service of the General Police Department, the Police Colonel, T.Sainjargal, said that the Police Emergency line 102 received an urgent call at 03.06 am on February 26th. When police arrived at the scene S.Naranbaatar was unconscious. The police made a call to the emergency 103 line. On arrival the emergency staff determined that he was dead.

But the cause of death is being investigated by the Chingeltei District Police. They stated that it is still too early to report on the incident.

The police suspect the prominent journalist, S.Naranbaatar, might have been killed.

According to local reports a 23 year old taxi driver and his brother are being questioned as suspects in the case by the Chingeltei District Police.

The forensic team has not commented on the case yet.
