
The Mongolian female judokas competed in four light classes in the European Open Women’s Oberwart in Austria organized on February 16th and 17th. The Mongolian judoka, international master M.Urantsetseg, won gold in the 52 kg class and B.Bat-Erdene won bronze in the tournament.
The Mongolian judoka, international master D.Amartuvshin, won silver in the 60 kg class and D.Tumurkhulug in the 66 kg class in the judo tournament in the European Men’s Open in Budapest, Hungary.
The Mongolian judoka, international master O.Uuganbaatar, won silver in the 81 kg class in the tournament.
O.Uuganbaatar was defeated by the Japanese judoka Kavakami Tomokhiro in the final for the gold medal. Mongolian judoka U.Duurenbayar ranked fifth after losing to the Korean judoka in the 100 class for the bronze medal.
Mongolian judokas who competed in the Grand Slam and the European Open are to head to home at the end of this week. The Mongolian Judo team will leave for Dusseldorf, Germany, soon.
At the tournament in Germany 14 male judokas and 7 female judokas from Mongolia will compete.
