There was a bank robbery in Zamiin-Uud sum in Dornogobi aimag on February 3rd. According to witnesses the robber escaped with 3 million MNT from a local branch of Khadgalamj Bank. Witnesses suspected the perpetrator, whose face was covered with a woolen cap, could be a woman.  The robber threatened the bank counter staff with a fake gun and seized 3 million MNT at around 7:00 pm that day.

The Local Police Department has started questioning a suspect over the robbery but has not arrested the suspect. The Police Department has refused to give more details. Currently the Police Department is collecting evidence related to the case.

According to local reports security staff were absent during the robbery in the bank.
