During an official visit by President Elbegdorj to Poland last week the Ministry for Construction and Urban Development signed an agreement with Poland to cooperate in the construction sector and on urban development projects at Government level.

The Ministry is to cooperate with the Polish construction sector on architecture, construction projects, testing and standardization. 

The agreement also included terms to regulate legal acts, banking or technical service development, trained staff exchanges, special training and other programs over a wide range of topics.

For the agreement a joint commission from both sides will be established.

The joint commission will consists of the deputy minister for construction and urban development, a working group and a team of experts and will carry out the projects and programs.

G.Baigalmaa, Deputy Minister for Construction and Urban Development participated in the Mongolian-Polish business forum and made a speech about Construction and Urban Development Challenges in Mongolia. She accompanied President Ts.Elbegdorj on January 21st while he was on his official visit.

During the official visit the Deputy Minister also visited the Baumat construction material industry in Torun Poland. Mongolia has been in cooperation with the company on concrete products supply and technology since 2001.
