Two men aged between 18 and 25 threatened and tried to rob Just Oil gas station in XI khoroo in Bayangol district according to reports this morning from a local newspaper “News of Mongolia”. The newspaper stated the incident occurred at night and that the two thieves escaped when customers arrived at the gas station to buy fuel. The police are now investigating the suspects.

In 2011 a similar incident occurred in Batsumber sum in Tuv aimag when four men shot a member of the gas station staff to death and stabbed another in an attempt to steal from the gas station Tsagaan Dalai.
