The Nuclear Energy Agency and the State Professional Inspection Agency jointly passed a regulation on the nuclear security status of goods, products and substances passing through customs.

Due to this regulation the Nuclear Energy Agency and the Professional Inspection Agency conducted an inspection on imported cars and spare parts in the customs control from Japan.

The inspection is being conducted by the Border Point Professional Inspection Department of the State Professional Inspection Agency. The Nuclear Energy Agency have been conducting radioactivity inspections on imported cars and spare parts in customs control from last August.  As a result of these inspection 59cars with radioactive pollution  have been revealed from a total of 33,406 cars.
