In accordance with the decision by State Property Committee, M.Enkhsaikhan, Executive Director of Ulaanbaatar Railway, was dismissed on Thursday. 

On Friday the State Property Committee appointed P.Bat-Erdene as the new Executive Director of Ulaanbaatar Railway.

According to an official source, A.Gansukh, Minister for Road and Transportation submitted a request to Ts.Nanzaddorj, the Chief of the State Property Committee on Thursday.

A.Gansukh said in his request that M.Enkhsaikhan interfered with the policy on railway transportation directed by the Ministry of Road and Transportation.

Currently the railway project between Tavan Tolgoi coking coal deposit to Gashuunsukhait is in dispute by authorities.
