Mr. Batsukh the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oyu Tolgoi LLC said that they are doing research and urban planning for a proposal to establish a new city next to Khanbogd sum of Umnugovi aimag.  It will be based on the economy formed around the gold and copper of Oyu Tolgoi during the opening ceremony of the factory.

Oyu Tolgoi LLC is doing research for the urban planning for a proposal for familes to live with the employees in the new city.  Therefore the research on the environment, pollution and water has been started. The plan is to start the building in 2 years which includes the planning for 15-20 thousand people including old citizen of Khanbogd sum. There will be a school, kindergarten, hospital and theater in the plans and everything that people need to live.
