The Specialised Institute for teachers was re-established by the decree of the Minister of Education, Culture and Science after the new Government was formed.

The institute was established with the purpose of conducting nationwide professional training for school and kindergarten teachers. This follow-up schooling institute is first conducting training with specialised teachers among primary schools.

The nationwide training for specialised teachers will run from January 3rd to January 31st in 5 regions in Ulaanbaatar city and Khovd, Dornod and Arkhangai aimags. A total of 400 teachers from primary school are expected to be involved in the training.

The first regional training in Ulaanbaatar city will be attended by 83 teachers from 9 districts for specialised training at the Teacher Development Palace.
