The 9th Mongolia-China Media Forumwill be held on 6-7 September in South Gobi or Umnugobi Province of Mongolia.

Entitled ‘Media’s participation in China’s Belt and Road Initiative and a new era of bilateral cooperation’, the forum is aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Mongolia and China by expanding communication and coordination between the media of the two countries.

The annual forum has become an important platform of cooperation and exchanges in the field of media between Mongolia and China.

The event is co-hosted by the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists, the Governor’s Office of Umnugobi, the All-China Journalists Association, the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia, and the Press and Publication Bureau of China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Some 200 journalists and officials from the two countries are expected to attend the forum.

The forum is part of a wider five-day culture and tourism event called ‘Feel China’ focusing on the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China that also features exhibitions, cultural performances and screening of Chinese films across Mongolia.
