The former president and head of MPRP,  Enkhbayar Nambar, was taken to a detention facility under the control of the Court Decision Enforcement General Office from the State II Hospital today.  The Court Decision Enforcement General Office delivered the verdict in the hospital to Enkhbayar Nambar, who has been sentenced to 2.6 years in jail and took him to the detention center. Former president and head of MPRP Enkhbayar Nambar has been in the hospital for three months due to health problems.

Enkhbayar showed no protest when he was taken to the vehicle of the Court Decision Enforcement General Office.

Enkhbayar`s wife O.Tsolmon, members of MPRP L.Tsog and Z.Bayanselenge, the Deputy Minister of Justice E.Erdenejamiyan and the attorney for Enkhbayar, B.Oyunbileg were at the detention centre.

Attorney B.Oyunbileg said  “The Supreme Court did not deliver the verdict to Enkhbayar correctly. According to the law, the verdict should be delivered to the attorney first. But instead, N.Amardorj, the Chief of 421st detention facility under the control of the Court Decision Enforcement General Office delivered the verdict.”

Last week the Supreme Court revised Enkhbayar`s case and reduced the sentence to a 2.6 year jail term from 4 years for abuse of power, illegal privatization of Urguu hotel and Ulaanbaatar publishing house.
