Local reports say that the kidnapper of the third grade pupil from Darkhan-Uul has been arrested. The incident occurred on December 18th where a kidnapper took a third grade pupil and demanded 100 million MNT from parents. Currently police are questioning the suspect over the kidnapping.

There are also unconfirmed reports that the kidnapped boy`s father works in the Governor`s Office in Darkhan-Uul and his son was believed to be kidnapped due to his father`s work.

The suspect is suspected of kidnapping the boy by taking him in a car with his hands tied on December 18th when the boy left for school from home at around 11.30 am that day.

The suspect demanded 100 million MNT from his parents, but the parents called the police.

The suspect returned the boy to his home on December 19th the evening after the police began an investigation.
