The Sub-electoral Commission in Songinokhairkhan district took the decision to run re-polling at the 26th sub-electoral commission for the election on December 24th.

But the General Election Committee reached a decision to delay the scheduled poll on December 24th. The General Election Committee assumed there will not be enough time for the preparation work for the re-polling to be done.

Due to preparation work of printing ballot papers and the installation of automatic voting machine to be ready re-polling might be postponed.

The candidates also agree to delay the re-polling at the 26th sub-electoral commission in Songinokhairkhan district. All candidates at the sub-electoral commission believe the decision to run the re-polling has been forced by the commission. Re-polling should be run after a sub-electoral commission meeting involving every member and preparation work is done. Therefore the re-polling scheduled on December 24th might be delayed.
