Ulaanbaatar city will host the XVI Inter-governmental Committee meeting on Trade, Economy, Science and Technical cooperation between Mongolia and Russia  on December 21st.

Officials of Ministries and agencies from both countries worked on preparation for the meeting  at Government House.

The Deputy Prime Minister, the chairman of the Russian-Mongolian Inter-governmental committee D.Terbishdagva  and  the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, S.E.Donskoy  will lead the meeting.

During the meeting ways of resolving issues on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and Russian challenges in Mongolian infrastructure projects will be discussed and shared.

Apparently the hot topics up for discussion will be the expansion of  production output from Mongolian-Russian  joint companies Erdenet Copper Production, MonRosTsvetmet and Ulaanbaatar Railway, cooperation on the energy sector, sustainable oil supplies to Russia and oil refinery projects with Russian support.

Also the two countries will establish protocols on discussed and negotiated issues of Trade, Economy, Science and Technical cooperation during the XVI  Inter-governmental Committee meeting. The Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology from the Russian Federation will be called on by Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag. Minister S.E.Donskoy will also meet the Minister of Environment and Green Development, S.Oyun and the Minister of Mining, D.Gankhuyag.
