Local report says an eight years old boy was kidnapped in Darkhan-Uul aimag. Snatchers threatened the parents to pay a ransom for the boy. The boy went missing from around his home on December 17th. According to official sources snatchers returned boy to his home two days later on Wednesday evening from a car and then disappeared.

A special division led by General Police Office was sent to Darkhan-Uul aimag on the mission to investigate the case. But there is no information on the kidnappers or if they were related to the parents.
