MPRP members and supporters came to see former president Enkhbayar Nambar who is currently being treated at the State Central II hospital at 11.00 today. Over 280 representatives who were elected in the Local Administrative Election from MPRP have come to the city. The supporters and members of MPRP wanted to see former president Enkhbayar Nambar at the State Central II Hospital but the Court Decision Enforcement Office refused to let them in. In response they demonstrated outside the hospital holding placards with slogans.
Supporters and members of MPRP claim that “MPRP members’ rights, which are guaranteed by the Constitution, are being violated. There were numerous cases during the Local Administrative Election where candidates of MPRP were kept from registering and being nominated. The authorities should stop political repression against the former president Enkhbayar Nambar. The elected representatives in the Citizens` Representatives Khural will take action until Enkhbayar Nambar is acquitted”.
