Every week on Tuesday and Wednesday the Mongol Bank organizes auction sales of foreign value. Commercial banks are to send request of their desired purchases in yuan and dollars today. But Mongol Bank did not participate in the exchange because the domestic market demand and supply is well balanced.

The action sale of foreign value is one of the arrangements made by the Mongol Bank for the purpose of transparency, open procedure, to improve the procedure in the domestic market and the stability of the exchange rate. Accordingly, every week on Tuesday and Wednesday an auction sale of foreign value is held which the banks that run business’s in Mongolia are able to participate.
