
The parliament discussed new provision for the draft law about Food Security during Wednesday`s plenary session. Scheduled for the Wednesday’s session were the first discussion of the draft laws on Food, National Security, the Mongolian Administrative and Territorial units and their Governance, Statistics and Customs and the issue whether or not to join “the Agreement for the establishment of the International Anti-Corruption Academy International Organization”. However the parliament membership issue was not included in the first discussion issue list. The parliament’s plenary session prolonged the first discussion on Food Security. At the end of the plenary session parliamentarians were divided into 50 different roles over Food Security issues. The parliamentarians shared opinions on the usage of organic food and the quality of imported foods.
