Mongolians have now elected their representatives for the Administration in Aimags, sums and districts for the next four years and some Governors in Aimags have already been appointed. From this year the Local Administration will be granted the right to allocate the budget according to budget law.

Budget law states that aimags should pass their budgets by December 5th. But the deadline is up today. Therefore by today the budget is expected to have been passed in the Local Residents` Representative Khural.

But some aimags still have not appointted their Governors. Currently only 5 aimags have submitted their appointments for Governors to the Prime Minister.

For instance, B.Badraa in Umnugovi aimag, P.Gankhuyag in Dornogovi aimag, D.Jargalsaikhan in Bayankhongor aimag, D.Tseveenravdan in Khovd aimag and J.Batsuuri in Sukhbaatar aimag have been appointed as Governors.  Khuvsgul and Dornod aimags have also submitted appointments to the Prime Minister.
