
President Ts.Elbegdorj awarded State Honors to mathematicians Janlav Tugal, Enkhbat Rentsen, Altannar Chinchuluun and Chuluunbaatar Ochbadrakh for their outstanding abilities in creating a new trend in the sciences of mathematics and optimization theory. They introduced “Newton kind ways and usage”, “Theory of Pareto optimization, play and balance”, “Physics adjustment methods and usage” and “Quasi-convex programming and usage”. Ts.Bavuudorj, a poet, who contributed greatly to world literacy with eastern style sophisticated poetry was also awarded and President Ts.Elbegdorj gave them his congratulations.
The President stated: “This is the day we Mongolians announced Independence. I am speaking to every Mongolian. We have a great history which goes back thousands of years. Our people have created a great history and we have the potential to be greater. We have a beautiful land. To imagine it artistically is just amazing. We traditionally award outstanding people with a State Honor on our Independence day. Scientists of mathematics who dedicated their heart and soul for decades on their work are now granted State Honors. Mongolia traditionally encourages new discoveries in science. This historical event is proof that Mongolians` intellectual capacity is potentially able to compete on the world stage. Congratulations.”
