
Mongolia now faces challenges t the whole network of road development. Particularly auto road development and garbage management are challenging in Ulaanbaatar city.
Ulaanbaatar city authorities are planning to cooperate with the Transport Institute in South Korea on road development.
Mr Kim, the chairman of the Transport Institute played a large role in the reform f road development in order to reduce heavy traffic in Seoul. His idea of using smart cards in public transportation and making buses run in the middle of the road worked successfully. During his official visit Mr Kim accepted Ulaanbaatar City Major`s offer to cooperate in road development by ding research in the road and transportation sector to find out the best way to reduce heavy traffic in Ulaanbaatar city.
The Ulaanbaatar City Major expressed that he is ready to cooperate with the Transport Institute of South Korea on road development in the first quarter next year.
