The General Election Committee held a meeting on Friday to discuss the issue of the General Secretary of MPP D.Sarangerel`s swearing in as MP. The decision was made to submit her name to parliament. Today the General Election Committee will announce the decision to President Ts.Elbegdorj and submit the request to parliament.

Parliament discussed former MP U.Khurelsukh`s petition to resign from the position of MP because of personnel reason and reached a decision to accept his request. According to election law a party member who ranked under Kh.Khurelsukh in the party list is able to take up the position in parliament as an MP. This is why the General Election Committee submitted the Secretary of MPP, D.Sarangerel, as MP to parliament.
