Development Bank of Mongolia is to issue a bond guaranteed by the Government soon. The Development Bank, which first experienced a 580 million US dollar bond in the market earlier this year, is planning to issue the second bond. The bank is expected to issue a 1.5 billion US dollar bond this year.  The value of bond will be increased in coming years. 

Officials say that the Mongolian Government bond has received much interest in the market. Some qualified investment banks, funds and also Mongolian banks have sent their representatives to buy or give advice.

Some reports say the bond might be issued under the name of Chinggis Khan in order to stoke national pride in country development.

Officials working on the bond issue are kept very busy meeting and negotiating with numerous banks.

The Development Studio of the Mongolian Mining Journal is ready to cast an analysis document program to show the process of the issuing of the first National bond.  The program will show the Government bond which was issued in the world market in 2012, especially for the Asian market. The Development Studio will broadcast the program at 19.00 on C1 channel every Sunday.
