Great Chinggis khan`s 850th anniversary day is public day off. City Council took measure to restrict vehicles of participating in city traffic defending on their registration plate number endings in order to reduce city air pollution. Ulaanbaatar city`s office and Traffic Police announced that restriction is not available on public holiday or weekend.

Deputy Chief of Traffic Police, Ts.Jargalsaikhan said that “According to amendments to law passed bt parliament 14th November is public day off.  The law says Great Chinggis khan`s anniversary is public holiday. So that vehicles restriction defending on registration plate number ending is not available” 

The parliament submitted an amendment to the law about public holiday and anniversary day announcing November 14 as Chinggis khan`s birthday on 8th November session.
