A “Mighty” model vehicle fell into Khuvsgul lake on 10th November in Tunel soum in the Khuvsgul province. The Khuvsgul Emergency agency staff saved five people from the fallen vehicle. They are now being treated in hospital and are in a good condition. Khuvsgul Emergency Agency staff are currently working to get the vehicle out of the lake.
There was also an incident on 4th November where a woman with an eight –month old baby fell into the river when the ice broke in Orkhon-Selenge area in Sukhbaatar soum in Selenge province. Selenge Emergency Agency staff are currently looking for the missing mother and baby. The local residents and Emergency staff believe that missing mother and baby might have been taken down the river by the current. A rescue team headed by emergency expert major J.Damdinsuren including 11 staff and two other volunteers are searching for the missing people in the surrounding area. In Selenge province the Selenge Emergency Agency have 36 staff and are divided into two search parties.
