The Nalaikh district election committee refused to register 15 members of the Justice Coalition of the Mongolian People`s Revolutionary Party and the Mongolian National Democratic Party (MPRP-MNDP) as candidates for the upcoming Local Administrative elections. In response, over 150 members of the Justice Coalition MPRP-MNDP protested the action by demonstrating outside the Nalaikh district election committee on 12th November.
Since this morning members of the Justice Coalition of MPRP-MNDP have blocked the gate of the election committee building not to allowing entrance to anyone.
Although the Nalaikh district election committee objects, members of Justice Coalition MPRP-MNDP insist that the Local Administrative Election be cancelled.
Some members of MPRP in parliament intend to go to Nalaikh district to see the reality of the situation.
