The managing board of the Mongolian Olympic Boxing Federation held an annual meeting on 12th November to review the work of the past four years and to discuss the Mongolian team`s success in the London Olympic games and to plan for the future.

Mongolian boxers achieved success in the London-2012 Olympic Games with Mongolian boxer, honored athlete N.Tugstsogt, winning a silver medal in the 52 kg category and U.Munkh-Erdene winning bronze in the 64 kg category.  Therefore the managing board summarized that the Mongolian Boxing Federation has done its best and the past four yours work has had great successes.

During the annual meeting the President of the Mongolian Boxing Federation Ch.Ganzorig and Vice President Ts.Bat-Erdene, who had successfully headed the Mongolian boxing team in two past Olympic games and played a big role in producing medalists in Olympic and World games, resigned upon their requests . The managing board of the Mongolian Olympic Boxing Federation named Ch.Ganzorig, the General Director of Erdenet copper and molybdenum factory, as “honored president” of the Mongolian Olympic Boxing Federation.

MP O.Sodbileg was appointed as the President of the Mongolian Olympic Boxing Games who will head the federation in the coming years.  London Olympic silver medalist, honored athlete P.Serdamba, was appointed as the Secretary General of the Mongolian Olympic Boxing Federation. Therefore due to this appointment as Secretary General, P.Serdamba will stop his boxing career.
