Members of the parliament discussed the resignation petition of member of parliament Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and accepted it by 58.3 percent of the votes in today`s session.  Twenty-eight out of 48 MPs who attended the session agreed to accept the petition.

During the discussion some MPs from the Democratic Party said “We should let U.Khurelsukh stay in his post but give him time to take care of his wife. We should not leave one of our own in trouble. We need to provide him with the possibility to stay in the post”.

But MP of the opposition party MPP, Ts.Nyamdorj, criticized the Democrats for making the statements for PR reasons.

MP U.Khurelsukh was nominated by MPP through the party list in the June parliamentary election and ranked second in the party following former Prime Minister S.Babold.
