
A wrestling competition for Mongolians around the world was organized for the fifth time at the ASA circus on Sunday. A total of 128 wrestlers from Mongolia, the Inner Mongolian Autonomous region of China, the Buryat Republic, The Republic of Kalmyki, Tuva and Altai competed in the under 85kg and over 85kg classes. Over fifty Mongolian wrestlers including national lion titled G.Erkhembayar and J.Baterdene and National Elephant titled M.Usukhbayar competed in the 85 kg classes. State Honored athlete, Kh.Tsagaanbaatar, Province Lion titled T.Baasankhuu and 32 other Mongolian wrestlers fought in the under 85kg classes. Out of 64 wrestlers, National Elephant titled Ch.Sanjaadamba from Khashaat soum Arkhangai province won in the 85 kg classes of the competition by defeating National Falcon titled E.Enkhbat, originally from Mogod soum Bulgan province, in the final round. This is the fifth time Ch.Sanjaadamba has won in the competition. Province lion titled D.Amarsanaa from Selenge soum Bulgan province won in the under 85 kg classes defeating competitor province Falcon titled O.Tumendemberel in the final round of the competition. The winners of the 85 kg and under 85 kg classes were awarded with 7,000,000 MNT each and the other two competitors were awarded 4,000,000 MNT each. The next wrestling competition for Mongolians around the world will be organized in the Republic of Altai in 2013.
